Mini birfs in a 12/79 front end?

Can I just put the birfs in? These are from a 79 minitruck-are these any stronger?

yer cruiser is a 79 right? if so, the minitruck birfs should be identical. 76-78 is the "odd" years for weaker/fine spline birfs.
