Mind blown. I didn't know it did this. Now I know what the 3rd memory button is for on the driver side. It's for this movie recliner or sleep platform

Yeah It as soo good hanging out in the car that I got to watch a FÜCKING COMPLETE MORON run right into the side of my car as she was parking.....I am amazed at the stupidity of most people. If I wasn’t in there she would of just left because she had zero clue she even hit me. Amazing, her shīt box is the second pic Acura MDX.

Awe man that sucks. What an idiot.

At least you were there to witness...

Maybe she’s not a moron...but just a genius...preoccupied with mentally applying & connecting Einstein’s theories toward quantum entanglement....and just didn’t have brain cells available to think about parking...? :hillbilly:

Lol! No doubt! All in jest, of course...

My wife had a similar experience a few years ago in a vehicle we no longer own. She was parked and got hit when another car tried to park in the spot next to her. The gentleman driving was apologetic for the accident and wanted to exchange insurance information, but the wife... she was a piece of work. She tried to place the blame on my wife for the accident. My wife was in her car, parked, engine off, not even in the driver seat.

The damage was minor-- slightly bent panel and surface scratched and honestly, we didn't care. Most likely I would've just buffed it out and never cared. However, due the wife's audacity to not take ownership of the accident, we made a full claim through insurance at the cost for $3000 for repair the damage. Insurance wrote us a check and I just moved on.

This incident is one more reason steel bumpers can be a benefit.

Fueling up at Costco...a guy in a 4-Runner tried to pull around me as I pumped gas...to the spot a guy left from at the next pump in front of me.

He badly misjudged, and dragged the side panels badly into my front T13 bumper. It made my bumper look terrible, and he was falling all over himself apologizing and promising to pay.

I felt sorry for the guy, as his 4Runner was serious thrashed!

Should have seen his face when I said, don’t worry about it...I’ll take care of it just as I do when scraping rocks, etc. :) He was TOTALLY STUNNED and it took telling him several times before he grasped that I was letting him completely off the hook for my truck’s “damage.”

So back at home...it literally took maybe
**10 minutes TOTAL** to go from this:

Made that poor guy smile...even though he messed up his own door panels big time.

Also pretty sure it was nice for him to realize that at least some of us aren’t always scheming to receive unnecessary insurance settlements. :)

stumbled across this thread while looking through the best mods under $100 thread. I slept in my 80 quite a bit the same way but real reason for this post is that my 92 Century has instructions in the owners manual for lying both seats flat for sleeping. Then of course a warning not to drive that way.

I know this is an old thread, but if anyone knows how this is done I'd appreciate knowing. Is it just a matter of removing the headrest and putting the seat back all the way?
