Mind blown. I didn't know it did this. Now I know what the 3rd memory button is for on the driver side. It's for this movie recliner or sleep platform

Good idea. I will have to try that!

Yeah you have to really crank the front seat up (front and back) and pull to the front all the way. But then take the headrest off and she lowers down like a glove.

WHAAATTTTT????????

I am lost. Do you hit 3rd memory button for that?

I just tried this in my 2016 and the seats wont go that flat :(

The price you pay for the much better looking exterior and interior, I guess.

I was tooling around with sleeping options based on what I currently got with two Plano sportsman's trunks and I noticed the contour on the front seat backs and the lip at the front of the rear seats. So I popped the head rest off and cranked the front seat down. Perfect fit for movie watching chaise lounge in the back seat. Climb in from the front door door and Bam. So I am going to set the memory for the 3rd button to this position and I don't have to search again for the right spot. It really wasn't too difficult on the passenger side. All the way up (front and back) then all the way front.

Nice! I used to sleep in my 4th Gen 4Runner like that, the 4Runner owners manual actually had a section explaining how to get the seats into this "sleeping position." I haven't tried it in my LC yet, but good to know it still works.

Are you saying that the memory buttons remember the settings for both the driver and passenger??. The would be cool for when we switch drivers mid-trip!

Never thought to try that

Seems like this is “yakuza boss mode”. The Toyota Century’s have something similar where the middle of the front seat flips forward so the “boss” can stick his legs through and get some shut eye while someone drives. I guess the same could be done here? You could wear the seatbelt from the second row?

09 lx confirmed seats also go down all the way, thanks for pointing this out...

It is mos def Yakuza boss mode! Love that phrase and omg Century. Absolutely what it does for the passenger side. Yes, you can ride back seat and wear seat belt in this mode. With your legs up like Andre the Giant sitting backseat of a VW bug. For the memory buttons it only does memory for the driver side but it has more articulation and I set the driver's side in the same position for boss mode movie or boss mode sleep on memory button 3. I mean what else could button 3 be used for? 1-2 makes sense but the 3rd memory button is for boss mode (in park). Passenger is boss mode at will. Just no memory. But I bet someone on this forum can fix that.

Button 1 everyday driving. Button 2 highway driving or if I let someone else drive my rig. Button 3 boss mode.

This is pretty nice.

I wish the passenger seat would fold all the way in half to make a table for the driver. Like an extension of the console.
