I am going to start selling and installing the Milford Cargo Barrier in Western Washington. I am located in Olympia, but am considering doing remote installs.

I am not able to meet the min $ order for the best dealer pricing at this time, but if I can get some others interested I can place a large enough order to get somewhat of a discount. Also, for the first installs, I will only be charging $50 for one mounting location $75 for both mounting locations (they can usually be mounted behind the rear seats or the front seats, with the rear folded down. Once the hardware is installed, the barrier can easily be installed or removed in less than 10 minutes.

They are available for the 60 series, 80, and 100 (as well as many other makes and models). There are full height and half height (for fitting with rear drawer systems etc) models available.

If you are interested, please PM me or email me at
BrandonsGarage@comcast.net . If you email me, please let me know you saw it here on IH8MUD.com.

What kind of cash are they charging for the barrier?

They are $519 retail. If I get 6 or more ordered (and since I am trying to get started) they would be $479. I think prices are going to go up in January due to the US dollar value dropping.

It sounds like a lot (it did to my wife) but with as many loose heavy items I carry in the back from time to time and our 4 year old son in the back seat it is worth it to me. I have looked for a long time and even the "best" dog barrier doesn't even come close.

Thanks,

Brandon

Cool, I will prolly need one for the 60 and 80, the install I can do, I did mine in the 80 and its pretty easy...........but can be intimitating drilling holes in the body :)

Was there a big price jump recently on them? I picked mine up for $299 on 01/09/04 from Man-A-Fre. They are currently listing them at $375 but I don't know if they have any or if the price is current.

I'm not trying to stir up something here, just curious. I am very pleased with the one in my 60 and would highly recommend them. I am looking into maybe getting one for my Sequoia now. The installation price seems fair too, I did mine but you don't want to mess up when drilling into the body.
