I just ordered a set of 15x8 Mickey Thompson Classic locks. They are 6-5.5 with a back spacing on 3-5/16. Has any one every used these and what are your thoughts. I'm mounting KM2 33x10.5 on them. How is that back spacing going to be. I an OME lift shackle reversal and all stock brakes. Will they clear?

i'm running them in a 15x10 with 35/1250 km2's. No issues, but i'm using different steering so i can't say if stock will have issues.

Twisty also has a set on his IIRC.

What is the back spacing on those wheels?

3 5/8 IIRC. if you offroad you will probably damage the rings. I messed up 2 last trip.

I figured they would get so scuff on them. Are they still in good enough shape to run or did they fall off?

Paraseeba,

Please post when you mount the rims- I've been very interested in getting them but I've been hesitant because of fitment.

I really like the look!

there still in good shape, but it bent one and took a good gauge out of another. I figure for now, i'd rather have the rings get destroyed instead of the wheel lip itself.

I will post a few pics when I get them on. They should be going on tomorrow. What have you heard about the fitment?? I hope I did buy wheels that will not fit!!

I have had two sets of Mickey Thompson Classics, 15x8 with 33's and 16x8 with 315/75 16's, with that BS, fit just fine over my front and rear disk brakes. Never tried the "locks"

Sorry- didn't mean to freak you out. I haven't heard anything specific about these wheels in particular, with the exception of what I've read in this thread.

In general, I've read that aluminum wheels are a bit of a crap-shoot when it comes to fitment... that some of them, even with the right offset on paper, can have fitment issues.

But based on what BDSeff1fitty has said, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Did you go with the polished ring? Or are you mixing and matching colors?

Yeah I went with the polished. I might mix and match from time to time though. Super excited on outing them on with the new tires. Here is what she looks like now

Looks awesome man! I take it this means they fit?

These are definitely the wheels I want. I'm thinking I'll go with black rims and polished rings.

Yes they fit great. Not a problem. Where are you located? I got them threw America's tire. They matched an Internet price of 134.00 a wheel. Super pumped about the look and stance!!
