MFD cracked screen...can this be repaired?

Hi Everybody,
I'm new here!
Happy owner of my 2005 hdj100, super bummed when my surfboard nose slammed into the screen of my MFD (multi function display). Smashed screen = no more access to the system.

I have another MFD console from a 2003 model that I bought online (thinking I was in the clear) the connections aren't compatible (I discovered this once I'd pulled mine apart!). I'm ready to return it, but before doing so, I'd like to find out if there is anyway to change the screen, if so, maybe I can use the screen from the console I'm about to return. Or maybe I need to send mine to some electro wizards...

Can the screen be changed? If so where?
Or, am I going to have to fork out for another unit?
Any advice or leads would be greatly appreciated.

I've had issues with my 04. As you learned, 04+ are not backwards compatible with 03 and under.

I've used this company for repairs: Prius hybrids sales and service Scottsburg Indiana Owner name is Steve W.

They may be able to transfer the screen for you. Other options are reman'ed unit for $1800 or new which is over $3k.

Any idea of a reman'ed supplier? I can't find any online.
