You decide a day and I will see if I can make it. I would be up for balanced rock road. You can fish and grill. Unless you were looking for something tougher.

Sas you should try the catamounts. I have a buddy that been fishing for 7 months straight now and he says one of those is good and its close. I think the middle one. Did you get the brakes going on your truck?

Leon probably knows a good place as well.

I've promised the kids that we'll get down to Metberry this summer yet. Saturday is booked, but maybe Sunday. Grill some brats, play in the river, etc.

Sounds good.

I bought the parts to replace the whole line, including the correct 10mm unions. Should have it done by early Saturday.

Ohh... like than plan. Metberry gives us some fun wheeling', nice area at the bottom for picnicking, rocking' out and fishing.

I'll update the original post and title here in a bit.

What time you all thinking for meeting at the Western? 8:00?

Cool...I'm getting excited!

Good god i can't wait till next summer! Seeing all these little trips that y'all plan is killing me! That's one HUGE reason we plan to move there. Wheeling galore!
How hard is it to get something like my rig "street legal"?

Man... sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we've decided to take next summer off. :(

And street legal shouldn't be a problem. Are you more concerned with emissions or lights, fenders, etc?

Got a friend from work thinking of joining us. He's got one of the older TRD Tundras (about the size of a new taco). He doesn't really have much wheeling experience.

Thinking he should be fine if we take our time. ???

Or should I wait and take him out on a birdwatching trip? :grinpimp:

Don't see any reason why it wouldn't be street legal now. About the only issue you might have is passing emissions. But that's solely dependant on where you live. In El Paso County (Colorado Springs area), diesels get tested, but gas vehicles don't. Which is why I took all my EGR crap off.

If you're worried about fenders, or wheels/tires sticking out, etc: Don't. There are so many rigs around town that have nothing over the wheels and nobody worries about them.

So if I'm reading this right. Diesels have to pass emissions and gas doesn't? That opposite of Texas. Not sure my excursion will pass than or not.
My 4runner really just needs a horn to pass safety inspection. To pass emissions I'll probably have to put a cat back on to it I guess.

Yeah, diesel must pass, gas doesn't.

Well poop!
Haha!

:D

Depends on where you live and what year the vehicle is, and if you have the original drivetrain. From purely an emissions standpoint at least.

Just read the diesel part, WTH!? Glad I am on this side. What year/motor for your Ex?

Huh...... That's different than what I'm used too.
It's a 2002, 7.3
