JP and I are trying to put together a "group buy" from Metal Tech. (http://www.metaltech4x4.com/)
We are both looking to get fully welded "Full Profile" cages for our FJ40s. When placing a multiple cage order there is a savings to be had off of the price of each cage ($100) but the real savings comes in the batch shipping:
Shipping for a single cage to Dave's would cost $693. With this deal you can expect to save about $300 off of that price.... for a total savings of $400 over ordering this on your own... a pretty good deal if you ask me. A full profile cage normally costs $1225 plus $693 shipping = $1918... With this deal it would (likely) be $1518... Final pricing will be determined before anyone pays anything and will depend on the number of participants.
Shipping will be to Crum's Custom Welding shop in Butler, NJ. You will need to pick up from there promptly - unless you are hiring Dave to do the install for you in which case you'll need to make the arrangements with Dave directly.
