Metal Flange won't come off :(

Can't get the metal flange off the pinion seal to replace on the front axle



Tried taking a thin flatehead screwdriver and hitting the end with a hammer to get it to come out, no dice...thinking crow bar?

Yeah the one in that picture. But I took off that large metal piece in front of that though..or it might be different b/c mine is an FJ80...

Ummm, there are several pictures. What's "the one in that picture"... exactly? I think you guys are on different pages as the pinion seal is on the rear of the diff in the CENTER of the axle and these pictures are of the hub/birfield area on the END of the axle assembly. ?
