Mercedes 300D parts house?

I just picked one of these up, a 1982 turbo diesel four door sedan, and was wondering if there are any places that someone out here may have found that specialize in these vehicles similar to the Land Cruiser vendor world, or places to avoid?

I buy either the aftermarket parts from Mercedes or Pelican auto parts. Mercedes sellls the real deal parts or aftermarket which is reasonably cheaper and the quality is good. Pelican has been great w/ Porsche parts for me and have now started carrying Mercedes. I can't say I've bought Mercedes parts from Pelican but if they treat you like they did me w/ the Porsche stuff then you'll be happy.

AH right on Poser... I have a 300D for the wife. Naturally aspirated though. Fun car. Good mileage.

I have gotten stuff from Napa and of course Mercedes stocks parts for these. Not like Toyota. The W123 car was pretty popular worldwide and many are still be driven today. They are bulletproof cars. Just wish mine was not soo rusty.

I like dieselgiant.com He even sells videos! I've learned to adjust the valves just by watching his video. He sells a kit with the valve cover gasket and the pre-bent wrenches necessary to do the valve-adjust.
