Hello,
I'm considering selling my Sandy Taupe FJ60. I haven't had it long at all, but things have changed and unfortunately I need something to suit a long commute.
201k miles on the original 2F and transmission. 33in tires.
Seats and dash are fantastic. Carpet not so much.
Standard underbody surface rust plus some somewhat dirty C Channels.
I've put a power steering pump, new fuel tank and lines, resolved some electrical gremlins, and put LED headlights on it since I bought it. (still have original headlights)
Has a vacuum leak and drips a couple drops of oil per day.
Cold A/C and hot heat.
Just trying to break even here, 22k.
Will post more pictures tomorrow if anybody's intrigued.

FWIW, carpet kits are sold here, and they're reasonably priced... don't let carpet discourage you from picking up a rust free FJ60!

Do your self a favor and post more pics of the good and the “bad”. Undercarriage pics are a must typically.

It lets me put 5 photos at a time so I’ll drop more later. As you can see in pic 1 the rear channels are not good. I think the Trail Tailor C Channel kit is the way to go right? Or just weld some steel.

Nice truck. The frame turns me off to it. I’m not a welder or rust repair guy. Anyone have experience with this an can speak to how simple the repair may be?

I wouldn’t mind knowing as well… if I don’t sell it my next job was to address the rust. Would prefer to sell it though. Damn near losing money commuting 60 miles per day.

Is there any rust or bubbling on the body? Fenders, door, tailgate, roof channels, and other areas, etc. If so, could you load a pic(s). Thanks.

I cannot believe these are going for $22K. Not too long ago, this was a $6K truck.
