Anyone interested in helping install my new BudBuilt step sliders on my 200? Pizza and beer will be on me! I was going camping this holiday weekend but plans changed and we are staying in town. Anybody else around want to help me out with the install? These things a burly is a big understatement. 70+ lbs each. Very excited to ditch my plastic running boards for SOLID American steel. More or less any time on any of the 3 days or nights I can work with your schedule. I'm located right by Arcadia (44th and Indian School) and would be happy to do here or I could come to you. Raw steel now but I'm going to paint them before the weekend.

If you're looking for a quality Powder Coat finish, a few of us used a finisher out in Glendale that works quickly and cheaply. I think it was $150 for a set of sliders, but we had 3 sets he was working on. The finish has held up well. Reply back or PM if you're wanting to go that route. The guy is about 78th Ave and Indian School, I think.

@Saddletramp , who set up the group buy on powder coating for us.

Thanks for the tip. I decided to go the other route for paint and just do Rustoleum spray paint myself vs powder coat. I talked to Bud and a few others weighing out the decision and went his route for the ability to do easy touch ups when they inevitably get scratched up. Bud suggested this “hammered” finish rust oleum that has a slight texture saying it’s even easier to touch up. I was also worried i was gonna scratch up a pretty powder coat during install. So, pros and cons to both methods the powder definitely a stronger finish. Give me the name of the place if you find it I do have powder coat needs every now and then and don’t have anywhere I know to go.

I'm out of town this weekend but live in Arcadia. Let me know if you ever need a hand.

I'm not good at wrenching but I'm good at holding them.
