To all:

I hope everyone has enjoyed the year thus far and had a chance to make it on a few trips/meetings and enjoyed the time they had spent with other cruiser fanatics. I have spent the last week getting the ONSC Member Roster and TLCA Chapter in Good Standing form up to date with the information I have been provided thus far. Some of you have will be getting emails/PM's for information I am missing but for the most part it is all there.

My next question to everyone is how you all would like me to get it to you. I know there are several ways we can do this - Joe, I will email you a copy of both the roster and TLCA-CGS forms so they can be posted on the Club Website, I have no problem doing this I just want to make sure we aren't posting everyones information for the "general public" to see. The options I am aware of are to email it out to everyone in a mass email, post it as a PDF here on the forum, or mail it out to everyone along with some cards (to place on cruisers you see as requested by some). I want everyone to understand that if posted here on the forum it is my understanding that as long as you have a member login you can view it. Someone may have to correct me.

I will wait until Wednesday to send this out until I gather a general consensus from the club. I think the best option might be an email.

Update: Olde North State Cruisers currently has 56 active members and 16 previous members who are currently inactive due to unpaid membership dues. If after the information is sent out - you don't receive it let me know and I will gladly correct the problem and insure delivery.

Thanks,

Greg

I can post it on the club website and only allow active members to access it. Give me a day or 2 to get it done..............

I like this idea. It keeps it private to members only and also will help motivate us to finalize/create our website logon info and give the site some well deserved usage.

Just my 2 cents...

I agree, especially when I tell Joe that I'd like to develop a trial run type registration process for Harlan, to be used for future events! :D

Information was emailed to Joe and we'll keep it posted there for now. If you request a copy please PM me and I will be glad to get you a copy.

For whatever reason, I have never been able to log in to the "private" area of the site. I have registered and all that. Not too sure that I really want my info out on the web, for that matter. Let me know how to get on to the members area.

Robert

If you guys registered and can't log in, don't stew - let me know! I am always happy to help resolve these issues.

i'm not stewing, not even sure i know where to go, but i do get this message when i click on some links.

fourtrax, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

When I "forget my username" and enter my email, I get this:

Error
  • Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

When I try to register, I get this:

Message
  • You must log in first
If I try to log in, nothing happens or I get this:

Robert, I do not see an account for you - what username and/or email did you use?

Eric, I see you were able to sign in fine. You should be able to read any article, view/post in the gallery, view/submit web links, etc etc etc. Please let me know what you clicked that generated error messages.

I'd suggest that everyone clear any cookies from the site, then try again. We recently moved to a new server, upgraded the software, and I made some changes. Best to start fresh.

Always feel free to email me joe at 4x4wire dot com, use the Contact Us/webmonkey link on the site, or PM me here if you don't want to post in public.

Consensus it to have the list added to the ONSC Website for private registered members to view. If you would like a copy send me a PM with your email addresses and I will email one to you.

Thanks

It did the same thing for me.

I was having the same problem and after I deleted my ONSC cookies, I was able to create a login. Also, after you register, you will get an email that you will need to open and click the link to complete registration.

Al, PM or email me the username, real name, and pwd you want and I will manually create a profile for you. This worked for Jon and Robert.
