Melbourne to Europe/Switzerland Freight

I might need some parts shipped in a 2 * 1 * 1 crate (that's meters) from Melbourne to Switzerland.

Can anyone recommend a freight service?

Does anyone have advice/experience handling remote organization of freight shipments?

Don't need the stuff right away, so is there significant differences in air or sea freight costs?

Any advice would be really helpful.
