Most of the GW Natl Forest trail system, with the exception of the fire roads, has been closed to legal 4 wheeling. May I suggest instead. If enough people in the club want to go wheeling, why don't we plan a trip to Rausch Creek. The camping is free and they have trails for every level truck and driver. There are hotels nearby for those who don't camp. Those who don't want to wheel their truck can catch a seat in a wheeling truck. If they don't want to wheel at all, the Yuengling brewery tour is a short drive, and Pottsville itself is worth the trip. If there are first timers who are apprehensive we could do a training run where they could have someone experienced ride along and guide them.

That sounds like a great idea. We should head down to BK's in Harrisonberg for some winter wheelin too!

There's still plenty of trails available at GWNF to have fun. I was up there in NOV and then again in DEC.
Here's my favorite pic. A FJC passing one of many scenic overlooks.

Looks like all we need now is for someone to pick a date and start a thread for a day trip to GW.

Bart, Tracy ???????
