Welcome, Glad there is another 6X around, I was the only one at the meeting.
You should try to make the Corolla trip, looks like it will be on Aug 1 or 2nd.

yea for sure i got a few projects i want to get done mainly alittle lift and some tires right now its bone stock

I've got a 88 FJ62 that's pretty much stock also. I mostly use it to carry around Kayaks and go pick up stuff at the hardware store.

oh ok cool to know im also in chesapeake i dont want to get to crazy with it but but would like alittle different look than stock

I want mine to be on 35"s one day since it's not my daily driver. It's pretty much a beater truck. It has a few dents and rust holes.

I've got a popping noise coming out of my front end of the 62 when in 4wheel drive. It sounds like a locker in the front because it's when i turn. It's not a locker, I tested the front end, no locker. The 4 wheel drive works, just the popping noise. Any one have any ideas? I was thinking maybe Ujoints but i'm not thinking it is that so much anymore.

Tie Rod ends would be my guess ....

Dry birfields, front drive shaft u-joints, friction between coil springs and perches, and possibly TREs.

I guess I need to put it up on 4 jack stands to get a better idea.

I have to pump about a tube of Moly in the top of my knuckles every couple months. I dont really get any noise though.
I need to do a rebuild, just hard to get started when a 3$ tube puts it off anonther couple months.
