I had some discussions with people at the M&G about my wheeler at my other home (Croatia), my Lada Niva 'Poskok'.

Here is a brief intro on YouTube that also includes lots of other Niva action as well.

I don't have any pics handy but Poskok is a white '03 with tow hook, roof rack, alternate fuel* option and several rear quarter scratches where she marked her spot in narrow medieval alleys. I guess I need to take some good waterproof band-aids with me when I go back.
*Croatia has a lot of natural gas so there is a government regulated and inspected system for what they call PLIN and the rest of Europe calls Autogaz. It seems to be a propane/butane heavy gas blend. Cuts my fuel price about 30% and I mostly use the gasoline system for cold starts, extra power and a spare fuel tank.

Ahh the niva, drove a couple of those back in the day. One of the only good things to come from the soviet era.

Interestingly enough Lada now contracts with GM to build the chevy niva. It has a much better 1.8 ecotech engine and a semi luxury style interior. But of course we don't get it here
