My '84 is at the bodyshop. From there it goes back to ACC Garage... it'll be a few more weeks before it's home. Like an expectant father readying the nursery, I'm carving out a parking spot for when the truck comes home.

I'm worried about space. I have a guy coming this week to build a fence and gates. After marking off the 8' gate (4' and 4') for the truck, it feels tight. The height is worrying me too - the truck will have to pass under the corner of the soffit/eave but with a bit of an incline. The truck is 30 min. away and, it's not finished - the wheels, tires, etc. are not on yet, even if I made the drive, I'd only get one of the needed measurements.

I need two measurements:
1. The width of the truck - mirror to mirror (smaller, not tow mirrors)
2. This may be a long shot - The height of an '84/85 with 2" springs and 33s, to the top of the roof.

Thanks!!! I really (!) do appreciate it.

OK, so, not exactly what you're looking for but close enough for you measure your available space. '85 Xcab on an '80 frame w/1.5" body lift, 4" suspension lift, 35" tires and truck mirrors.

Top of cab approx 75"
Outside/outside of mirrors 82"

That should get you in the ballpark.

That's awesome @ferg ! That will do it. Thank you!

It's funny... I put my Land Cruiser in the spot where the the '84 Pickup will go... and got worried. You know... 'cause it turns out an '06 Land Cruiser with 2.5" of lift and 33s is a bit bigger than an '84 Pickup.

Thanks again.
