Had a great time at MCR this year. Met some great people. Attendance looked to be on par with the years past. The people that came from the farthest point were from Alberta, Canada. CVC had 9 club members show up

Mike
Dennis
Marlin
Mike C
Wes
Aaron
John
Cacy
Edit:Talon and Risa (sp) were there also.
Chad

John won the $50.00 raffle. Aaron broke a couple of birfs but he was able to get fixed up and back on his way. For those that have not been on this trail and want to but have stock birfs, make sure to carry at least two spares. The trail is much easier than in the past as the big sluice is being smoothed out for drainage purposes.

Many people that came to the roundup came down Cadillac. I heard that part was much tougher than in previous years, however, I went back out through loon.

Thanks to Marlin and his Crew for a great time. I have been there 4 times and all have been a lot of fun.

Great to see so many club members at an event.
Had a great time thanks to all that could make it and support a fellow club member at their event.
Thanks to Big Mike,Christine and Marlin for such a great event.
Sorry I missed all the carnage on the way out was home by 4:00
A new record I think

Without the carnage, we might have been home about the same time. All in all, still made it home about 9:30

No pics?

I was there too, first time on that trail. Had a great time, the event was great and I look forward to going again. I didn't take many pics, just a couple scenery shots my fiancée took I can post later.

You can say that again. Big thanks to Cacy, Chad, Dennis, Talon, & Rise (think i got everyone in there) who waited [and helped fix] my birfs....the fix took around 3 hr for both using Talon's spare axles...i'll be much more prepared next time :bang:

What was left of the birfs:

All-in-all had a lot of fun. Can't wait to upgrade and get back out there. I sense FJ80 axle up front in the near future...

I was rockin a Go-Pro...currently converting the vids to post em' :hillbilly:

Looks like fun, you guys. Can't wait to see the vids. I want to try and make Rubithon 25 next year, just need some sliders and skid plates first.

Yep, they exploded.

Aaron you did a great job. When I was following you out, it seemed like you had been there many times before. Your truck looked great.

Damn donal is that your 80's?

Thanks, i'm still surprised the truck performed so well...Other than the birfs i had no noteworthy damage.

I'm not against being wider, and i hope to get an improved turning radius too (had a few too many 3-point turns). Still not sure if i'll run the stock FJ80 birfs or upgrade them...

Mrs

I also had a great time, after the 7 mile hike back to the Tahoe side staging area to drive back into town and find a fuel pump.

The $50.00 CVC check was a great surprise.

I can't wait till next year.

Sorry no pic's.

Ahhh I see

That's one way to work off the MCR burger

Too late mike....
