It is pretty well known fact that both Jeff Bomke and I pretty much 'do' the McGrew Trail ride. However, we always get PMC club support because... all Sanctioned events must be hosted by a TLCA Chapter club. That is where PMC the chapter comes in.

However, PMC (and Roger Taylor) have always supported our event by donating a hi lift jack or other quality prize PMC is giving away that year.

I want to now make sure that everyone knows how this support comes back to PMC!!!

For the last two or three years, the McGrew Trail Ride has covered the cost of the Swap meet insurance. Yep, that is correct. TLCA insurance costs PMC $259 each year. PMC has not had to pay this swap meet fee as McGrew has covered the expense when covering its own insurance.

and we are pleased to carry on that support for 2006. Yes, we (PMC) owe TLCA for both McGrew and the swap meet for 2006 insurance. After confirming with Jeff on our funds, McGrew will be covering that swap meet expense again.

another fun fact about the McGrew Trail Ride... no other TLCA Sanctioned event has paid so much to TLCA. On the 1st running of McGrew, all proceeds went to TLCA, at over $1200, it still stands as one of the largest event proceeds sent to TLCA, with McGrew being one of the smallest TLCA Sanctioned events. Kudos to everyone who attends and makes it all worth while.

I want to thank Tony and Jeff for all they do for PMC. It is the little things that make this club the way it is. A lot of people don't have a clue what it takes to keep this club going .
More money than people know just to pay for this kind of things.
Thank you very much

OK ... serious stuff. There are only 15 slots left for this run. If you're on the fence, I wouldn't wait 'till the July 8 deadline (I think it might fill before then, based on traditional procrastinators coming fast & furious) I will be holding close to the limit, as it's one of the things many of you have liked about this run. (the only bribes that will work are really sweet raffle fodder :grinpimp:)

2 u-joints and a shock tower ripped off."
For the less sure of us, don't let this scare you off ... there are stocker lines & modified lines ... your choice. As my good buddy Tony always says at the drivers meeting, "there will be no breakage on this run" - which has held true for the stocker lines :)

I especialy would like to see a few more PMC members make it
