We are inside a week so it is time to start the O-fficial thread for info and updates.

We are at max capacity on this one and it is going to be awesome.

Andy, Bomar and Dave have been busy planning the route. The rest of us have not done s***.

If you are going and have any questions, now is the time to ask.

From the OPINE thread

We will stage from Lake Catherine State Park SW of Hot Springs.

Bomar has 2 RV spots on the lake reserved.

Plan your own food. Group is too big and trip is too short to deal with dividing out meals and stuff.

PMC and I will have Skottles for use if you want.

BFast and Dinner will be in camp. Lunch in the trail as we go.

We will pass 900 gas stations so there is no need to pack like you are going to the Serengetti but kindly be fueled up and ready to peel out at 8 am Friday morning.

We will be working on Bossman's awning at my house. I am 8 mins from the state park and that is driving at correct speed limits.

Most everyone on this trip has my number so I will text you my address and give you the code to get into neighborhood.

I am now in for full weekend...got child care for Sunday.

Lake Catherine State Park 26 and 28

1200 Catherine Park Road
Hot Springs, AR 71913
GPS: 34.437945, -92.917989

Also nice hiking trails at the park....

Hook's is closest gas....no ethonal. hooksquickstop

You will pass the Diamondhead market that sells beer. No Fuel

I will be dropping some junk in PMC's trailer then settling in for the evening at whichever spot is open. Will have Lauren and the dog (probably) with me.

I have a few PDs to meet with on Thursday in Central AR before my last one in Hotsprings Thursday afternoon. Should be at the park by 4:00-5:00.

Also the Diamondhead market that you will pass into park has good food. Cooked to order so then you don't have to cook Thursday night or Friday am. Just enjoy after your drive and easy Friday am so a quick peel out.

Faster we leave Friday am quicker to the woods to give our busy lives the bird for the weekend!

I can't wait. I need this so bad to recharge.

Yea I can't wait, I think the plan is to meet Friday at around 10 am at the harps grocery/fuel in Dover Ar. Andy has the location. From there about 20 minutes to dirt . If you have any pull with the rain Gods tell them to hold off until the following week, But we will be fine regardless !! It's gonna be a good one

Oh.... If the desire and time are there, bring hiking boots and we can make a short although kinda steep trip into "Pams Grotto" on Friday, which is kinda a cool spot , but that's strictly up to the group....

Early grocery get today since tomorrow is a crazy day and I leave at dawn on Thursday for Hot Springs via Oxford and Tupelo.

I have a Dutch Oven dessert for both nights. A kick ass chocolate thing and apple cobbler and ice cream for one night.

Better bring some milk for the chocolate night. Maybe a bit of spare ice cream.

I've got some Rudys cream corn and pintos I got a while back I'm gonna warm up to go with Bomar's brisket and some tortillas
to put it in. This is Friday night.

Sat night I got Will and me a steak. I'm bringing some Hoover sauce.

I'll have the Skottle out making breakfast if you want to toss something on it any meal.

Will likely bring some venison sausage too.

I don't have any fancy food plans...just gonna bring some stuff to toss on skottles and grills that other folks are bringing. Sho am looking forward to eating some fancy desert though.

so far so good on the rain, its been pretty light, we really need the creeks to drop out some more and they should barring any big rain event. later in the week the chances for rain go up but they lessen the farther north ya go .right now it stands at a 40% Thursday up here then dropping off after that.
really looking forward to this... gonna pick up a fat steak for Saturday

I have a steak and potato lined up for one night. No fancy deer sausage tho. Gotta settle for the store bought kind:(

Y'all only think that you are ready...
