May Arkansas Overland Trip Thread

All the good stuff is east of Chattanooga.
I've been dropping lots of pins for s*** to see over there. Thinking a white rapids trip is in order.

Don't forget the Ouchita national forest that's another 1.8 million acres in addition to the 1.2 million Ozark nat. Forest in Arkansas And it has some really cool stuff as well. But I agree that eastern Tn and western NC has a lot to offer I was raised around Bryson city and Asheville NC

Not really its Africa hot during the summer. check out the Richland creek gauge , glad it didn't do that Saturday night or we'd still be there, which thinking on it , sounds pretty dang good ....

. Yea the buffalo came up 6 feet in almost the same time period these streams have a big drainage they flow from

Maybe up around Highlands, NC (highest incorporated town east of the Mississippi River) Best plan is to forget camping in hot weather!
