What the largest, most durable, smoothest and least expensive MT tire that will fit a 2000 model year, with stock wheels, 866 coils with 30mm spacer and torsion bar lift.

I would like to increase size and traction from current 285 AT setup. Hoping to find, five 35" premium MTs that willmnot rub for less than $750 out the door ;)

seriously. . . at 700 posts i hope this is a joke.

I'm loving my treadwrights! I got five (details in sig) for 780 shipped out the door. They mounted and balanced super easy, no problems yet after a couple thousand miles and they look great, for retreads after all!

No joke, but alittle tongue in cheek on 35. I want something largerandmore aggressive than my 285/75/16 Dakota ATs,. 295/75 and 305/70 options are limited.

I wouldn't trust 35s to drive across the country.

Would you be concerned about 2000 tranny issue?

Depends on what LED lights you have.
My LEDS are PFRAN

I was looking at a similar retread. It looked a lot like the older GY MTRs. Unfortunately, they only come in 285/75.

If i end up going with 285s, I might just swap over to Dakota MTs. Pep Boys runs sales on these, soi thinking can get 5 for about $900

What about if that cross country travel included mostly beaches?
After spending time in the 100 series threads I'm actually afraid to go anywhere without a properly painted wheel and hubcap combo. Or properly maintained and matching badges.

Yeah and don't forget to burp your driveshaft for gosh sakes!

After tires are procured, I will paint wheels and badges with appropriate color. Honestly, I have resisted the badge paint, since I paid extra for the gold package. I don't want to diminish the collector value.
