My friend Mark A. from Mark's Off Road is going to be in the area Sept 19th to attend the Fall Crawl with the guy's from Richmond.

We should organize a happy hour somewhere and hang out. Mark really likes live music, any ideas? He'd probably love an open mike somewhere as he's bringing his guitar.

I agree that it might be tough to find an open mic on Sunday, but I'm in.

John, are you looking for a place in the McLean/Tysons area, or would you be willing to come into Alexandria? Tiffany Tavern is a cool place to have a beer and listen to music. They have open mic nights, but not on Sundays.

Mark said that there is no need for live music. We can just hang somewhere - maybe the vienna inn or the Old Brouge.

That Sunday I have plans so it will have to be during the week.

I just talked to Mark, he said Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday are best. I'm busy on Sunday, but open to those days. He is staying in Richmond as far as I know but wants to crash up here one night.

I say we get a gathering together at the Old Brogue, I might be able to get the back room. Or we can stake out a place at the Vienna Inn?

I've never been to Old Brogue, but it sounds good to me. Any of those three days are fine for me. It really depends on Mark's logistics.

Just got off the phone with Mark, let's hang out with Mark here in Northern VA on Monday and then he is going to head down to Fredericksburg / IPOR on Tuesday.

Old Brogue or Vienna Inn, Monday Night at say 7 PM?

I'm going to take Mark to Great Falls park during the middle of the day on Monday if anyone wants to come along. Will probably take him to lunch same day.

Maybe we can hit the Brouge for Lunch and then the Vienna Inn for a few beers?
