I traded in my Toyota Tacoma on this new 2011 FJ Cruiser. My thoughts at the time were to do a little camping and light trails. That started to change

very fast after my first trip to Table Mesa AZ!

The day I brought her home! (2011) AKA The Tank

I think I'm going to just copy your list and send it to Santa this year, nice set up.

How do you like the MTR's? I've got a set ordered now, 3 of the 5 are here, but something got screwed on the order so the other two are in Utah......argh.

MTR's are my favorite tire so far! They drive great on the street and awesome off-road!

Great thanks, I'm really looking forward to them, heard nothing but good reviews.
I've run KM2's on my last two trucks, and BFG A/T's (stock ones) on the FJ for the last year.

New shoes!

Let us know your thoughts on Grapplers vs MTRs later.
Nice rig!

Nice tank! Any other place that sells the lefty tc anymore?

very nice truck ... I see you were one of the lucky one's to get a Lefty before the adaptor plate production stopped (which I'll never understand) ... I missed out by a couple of weeks ... seriously considered an Atlas 2, which I think is the only viable, essentially bolt in option (aside from front and rear driveshaft alteration), but wayyyy to much money ...

Updated Mods

I recently upgraded my Lefty transfer case by adding Marlin crawl box in front.

I installed a set of Dave's Off road Triple Sticks and had Sonoran Steel Fabrication built 3 custom shifters.
The transmission tunnel had to be modified to clear the triple stick base and linkages. Sonoran Steel Built a 3 piece transmission tunnel cover set to gain the necessary clearance to run this setup and maintain a factory center console with all the cup holders just like OEM.

All sealed up! I'm running 3 individual boots for fitment vs a triple 1 piece boot.

Those dual cases and triple sticks are sexy! What is your lowest crawl ratio in 1st gear/low/low?

It's around 170 to 1

It's around 170 to 1

:smokin: You could get out and have lunch while your truck climbs an obstacle. That is great; you can never have enough gears as far as I'm concerned.

What GPS and software are you running on the Acer? And how did you get topics on the nuvi? Thanks man, beautiful rig!
