hello, does anyone have any experience with repairing a manual transmission , i think i have a syncho ring between 3th & 4th gear that is a bit wornout, it works but not optimal and it gives a little ratel sound, is this something you can do yourself,

I dont think you can just pull out 4th synchro and repair just that .It probably will need a complete strip down including the transfer case. Just buy a kit and be done with it.
Is it a R151 gearbox?
