Manifold mating (1 Viewer)

I took my manifolds off and separated to clean. The gasket that fits between them was in very good condition so I bolted them back together and now the outside bolt holes don't line up. I don't recall if they lined up before, but this does not seem right. What should I?

Loosen the bolts that hold the two manifolds together. Line the assembly back up against the head. Tighten the nuts on the studs enough so that the manifolds are flush with the gasket. Then tighten the two manifolds together and then tighten the nuts on the head bolts. That's what worked for me.
