Man-A-Fre doesn't exist anymore since BTB bought them out.
The headers they advertise look terrific and actually fit well on the cylinder head but that is where the satisfaction ends. As Paul Harvey would say, here is the rest of the story.
Within six months the ceramic coating showed signs of rust popping through. Called BTB Products who bought Man-A-Fre and asked about a warranty. They had the coating company contact me and said if I would send them back, at my expense, they would recoat them and I would have to pay for return shipping. Not much of a warranty. Shipping there and back would be in the neighborhood of $150 and the warranty would end when the original 1 year purchase anniversary date came around. So I passed. The rep from the coating company seemed upset I dared to question their work.
Ordered the "Y" pipe that is supposed to bolt right on to the headers. NOT! One pipe was 3/4" to long and held the other off of the joint. The muffler shop I was at had to COMPLETELY rebuild the "Y" pipe so it would fit. On top of the shortness of one pipe, the entire unit was bent to the inside if the frame making installation of the muffler away from the drive shaft impossible. Man-A-Fre and BTB are off my list completely.
