Did some camping in Mammoth, had a great time weather was perfect and the skiing was even good.

Anyway here are some pix from the Laurel lakes trail.
Although we were blocked by snow , I was a nice trail and beauitiful scenery
good stuff

Heading up there tomorrow thru the July 4th. Looking forward to skiing on the 4th of July. Anyone else heading up???

Well on the trail the snow patches start about 8000 ft ( north face only )
At the resort they had about 20 runs and 4 lifts + the gondy .

Ken lift that cruiser and get some better tires then just say no to being blocked by snow!

You can say "no to being blocked by snow " all you want NO wheeld vehicle was going through those 45 degree sideways feilds of snow Maybe if you had a yo-yo (winch cat) you might make it,

I just helped lead a yotatech trip up to mammoth this past weekend. Laurel is still blocked with snow, but seems to be melting fast. It was pretty hot up there.

From this location we could see the lower laurel lake. The snow patch at the top was the last blockage. We ended up walking down to the lake.
