Gotta be something, right? Why else would he give a tinker's damn about proper management of our public lands? Probably should let things continue the way they are going.

That's funny! Bureaucratic restrictions (travel management? wilderness designation? roadless rule? seasonal nesting/calving/etc wildlife restrictions?) have restricted access for sportsmen? Roadless rule is gone now. What's next? Wilderness designations? Habitat protections? (they are trying to remove habitat protection from the Endangered Species Act). And a worse budget than ever to deal with that $23B in Forest Service deferred maintenance. Increased access for sportsmen is directly tied to increased resource exploitation under this administration, but it doesn't align with recovering fish and wildlife populations at all.
