Damn this thing was heavy but I finally pulled the column and "remembered" how to install the pedal bucket, then install brake master cylinder, then the column. Only damn problem is the master cylinder brake lever pedal rod is too long, even adjusted all the way back towards the firewall. So what do I do to modify the break lever pedal rod to make this all work?

I would have taken pictures but my arms are toast and I did this on a break from work tonite. Has anyone modded the rod from a 90s 4Runner for use with a 75/76 pedal bucket.? DGangle wouldn't that be you?

I'll add pics later but this ain't that exciting to look at. I promise. I'm looking forward to yanking it all back out too!

:hhmm:

Are you talking about the rod between the pedal and the booster? When I put a booster out of I think (memory?) a mid 80's mini pickup into my 40 it came with a 3/4 inch thick spacer. The spacer was stock with the mini and went between the booster and the firewall.

Good idea. That will help the clutch MC slide behind that sucker too.
