the small maggiolina adventure roof top tent is now a special oder item. Just when i get ready to buy one for my M416. Why does this always happen? Does anyone have a pro and con opinion of this tent before I buy a roof top tent?

MZBHAVN - Sorry. The Maggiolina Adventure is a special order tent because it is a.) and older, less aerodynamic model, and b.) it shorter than the newer Maggiolina tents by several inches. This means that you must be under 6 feet to stretch out in it. It does fit a trailer pretty well, tho. I can have one here in the next container - arrivng end of September.

Call Gary @ MUDRAK for an informed opinion of our tents, and to order if you decide to buy one. His customers have been very happy, and he uses one himself.

The most popular trailer tent right now is the fabric OverLand, which comes in three sizes 1.3m, 1.6 m, and 1.8m. The small OverLand will fit almost any trailer (it's 51" long X 87" wide).

Call me if you need to discuss or express your angst.

I saw a Maggiolina first-hand a couple weekends ago. Excellent product. Roomy, can open and close with your bag/pillows, etc already inside. Takes literally a minute to setup. Owner said you can stow it wet for quite a while thanks to the materials used. Only drawback i could see is it takes up more roof area.

You won't be disappointed!

Also got to see a WilderNest pickup canopy tent and a couple great 60 series interior sleeping designs. Quite a pleasant variety that weekend!

Oasis tents (www.oasis-tents.com) I've also seen first-hand and are really attractive to me as they weigh roughly 1/3 of what a Hannibal or Maggiolina weigh.

I just ordered my Maggiolina Sm Airland from Autohome USA - Great service - I get it in two days

I am stoked!

You dog you! It's on my 'list'...just down the 'list' aways. Hopefully I can get one next year.

heh heh... well it was farther down on my list but I moved it up. ;) The sm Airland is being discontinued and they had in stock with the grey fabric.

You know Dan, according to Autohome's website they are right down the road in Carson City. Maybe have to go check out one of the tents in person!

Well as you know the above quote from me is old and bad as the AT is within striking distance now. Mario said they still plan to introduce their own tent and attached 'room' sometime next year...
