So my dad's Land Cruiser is finally home. After years and years wanting to get it there.

My mom has since retired and moved to North Carolina and I'm in the Army currently in Korea. We both decided it was time to get to her house so I can work on it. I just can't find the words to describe how I feel.

Seeing the sun for the first time in years.

Hopefully it's last ride with being under it's own power.

Looks solid. I just left 2ID / CRC less than 2 years ago. I'm currently in 2CR (GER) missing my land cruisers!

Do I see a stamped bezel? When you are going back to a stock fj25 grill, don't throw away that bezel! Those are rare and wanted. You have to get rid of the turn signals on the fender too. Don't throw these away, put them in a box and send them to me.

And we need more pics (when you get home).

Is that an actual factory color? I always thought that it came in flat gray. Inspiration for sure.

Cool, I'm currently at The Hump. I wish I got to go to Germany but MOS left a long time ago.

Are you talking about the piece around the head lights? I'm planning on going back to the original grill at some point. I'm not a fan of the turn signals I would like to find a cleaner looking solution.

Dont think so. You could check some hidden spots like under the fuel tank or in the glovebox to see what the original color looked like.

The turn signals and the bezel with 'landcruiser' stamped in are from a 1961/1962 FJ40. The FJ 25 did not have turn signals on the fender (in the US). Only the round bib lights under the headlights.
