After using my trailer for more than just off-roading. I realized I needed easier access to the inside, via a tailgate. My original intent was to leave the tube uncut, but I plan on "using" this trailer for business, errands (craig-list items), and camping. With this in mind, my trailer will evolve to meet my needs. I have thought at times it would have been easier to have done a build-up from the ground. But that is a individual call. The M101 and M416 are a great base to build from, and with planning, patience and MUD you can make something really cool. Trailer build list also include toungue extension, spare tire carrier, axle swap to track behind the 80(with matching rims/tires), receiver tube install, this list is subject to change. Anyway, good luck to you guys with your trailer builds.

File attachment issue. I'll post later-sorry.

Sorry this took so long. This was a lot of fun. I plan on cutting in a hitch tube next.

What's the brand and model number of your roof rack for the trailer, I have the M100 and I need to place a roof top tent on top of it and I am looking to use that kind of set up until I can get a top made for it.

Check out Thule. The load bars are 48", very secure. The mounts came off my 89 4runner.
