Trade M416 < > m416?

I have a pretty decent M416: no rust holes but it has been rattle can repainted. Has good pintle and original chains and hooks, brake works (handle won't adjust but I haven't tried to free it), landing leg works, original lights, and the intact & readable data plate. (Wiring has been replaced with a flat 4)

I am planning to cut a tailgate into it… I know many people consider that a "bad thing" to do to a stock trailer. SO… I am proposing a trade: My all stock M416 for your less than stock M416 +/- cash depending on the details.

I am not looking to drive all over creation to make this happen. I am on Long Island, NY. If anyone is of the purist persuasion and is interested in talking about this drop me am email…

Yeah that would take the value away from that M416 in a heartbeat. Wish I was close I would trade you my 1949 BANTAM trailer with tail gate that looks like a M416.
Try doing an add for a trade locally. The Bantam are still found and lots have the tailgates or sell the 416 and buy a Bantam.
