Hey all,
I have search this forum up and down and have enjoyed many good lookin' trailers. I need some help. I want to put my Jeep Moab (2006)wheels on my 416. i had adapter USA build me some adapters but wouldnt sell them to me due to cracks.. Now i guess i want a 3500lb axle with the 5x4.5 bolt pattern. My question is what length axle with that wheel combination and will i need spacers so that i can keep the center caps.. Please help my 416 tires are rotten and i need to get to tha woods...Thanks everyone and love the forum..

On Rezarf's advice and counsel, I ordered a #3500 axle the same wms-wms....55" IIRC with 6 on 5.5 hubs so I can run the same wheels as my cruiser. Just measure your vehicle's wms-wms and order the same.

"Wheel mounting surface" Hub face to hub face.....sorry

Ok did you have to add spacers to clear the wheel bearings? PS thanks for the help..

I just run the stock Landcruiser steel wheel with 33 x 9.50 tires, but could run wider wheels and tires with no problem. No spacers. And the axle has no brakes, just the hub.

Ed,

He wants to run Jeep wheels on his trailer and is not sure if the center hole in the wheel will clear the hub center cap.

Well, with the correct bolt pattern, I see no problem as the hub is waaaay smaller than any 4WD hub....Jeep included.

Thes pics should show what I mean....
Hub...at least on my axle, is not a problem.

Hope to re-start this soon......maybe tomorrow?:D

I wouldn't order the same axle length as the TJ ... it's gonna be REAL wide on the trailer. I used the same length as the stock axle on my M101 CDN and the funky offset jeeper wheels worked out just fine. I used the Cepek wheels instead of the stockers but should be the same deal.

As a side note, VERY glad I got the electric brakes when I ordered the axle. The jeeper seems to go alot better than it stops. :meh:

Wow Kowboy.. Thats the color of my jeep.. Want to start over and do mine and i will hang on to yours for awhile...?? I am going to measure the stock axle, but i think i will have to get wheel spacers also so that the axle hub will be behind my rim. I dont think the axle hub will fit thru the rim like on yours.. I have read some where in these forums that i need to get a 52" or 53" axle.. Man would nt it be easier if someelse had the same problem or a least lived in WA.. Thanks everyone and awesome trailer Kowboy..
