80 series rear springs on an lx570?
To contribute to the thread:
2012 rear passenger coil appears to be
12.2mm
2012 rear driver is 13.41 (and shorter than passenger)
2011 appears to be 16.2 rear passenger
2011 rear driver is 14.87mm
They markedly reduced rear coil strength in the later lx570’s…
Probably because early lx570’s were designed around “handling/sportiness” (stupid, but look to the marketing literature) leading to stiffer handling
while later ones returned to what people expected out of a Lexus premium suv (comfort/suppleness).
Btw if anyone has the right/rear coil of an early lx570 (16.2mm diameter) and they’d like to sell it, dm me
(I erroneously installed a later right/passenger rear coil and now bottom out on big drops on that side)
