I have an RV trip in 10 days. I don’t have time to get my 08 lx set up to flat tow. If I put the front end up on a car dolly and unbolt the driveshaft I should be able to tow it.

Thoughts?

A trailer is not an option

Which driveshaft? I assume you mean the rear one?

You should be able. The rear diff is a classic diff. Make sure you mark the location on the shaft and diff before removing. It should not be a problem, but just in case to reduce variables when installing back. You'll need a way to secure that driveshaft and prevent the yoke from extending. Tie down straps with hooks should work.
Also put some warning on the steering wheel to prevent mishaps if someone else is trying to unload the truck from the dolly and forgets to reconnect the shaft first.
