The sound coming from all of the speakers is staticky and muddled. About 8 months ago, I was getting a whirring noise under my drivers seat. I removed the seat and replaced the fans on amp. A couple of months ago, the stereo started a random popping crackling noise when off and the same staticky sound when on. It stopped one day and worked normally for several months. This past week, the sound issue came back (without the popping and crackling when off). The fans I installed on the amp appear to still be working. What else should I look for to fix this issue?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that will refurbish the ML amp under the drivers seat? I think the problem is the amp.

OEM Auto Audio and United Radio (both out of New York) get good reviews.

I am having the dreaded no sound on my 2016 LX570 and have exchanged a few calls with Joe at OEM Auto Audio. I plan to send my amp in to have it bench tested. I have to cover shipping and $25 to check it out. A rebuild of the amp is around $700.

I have lost all sound as well as my rear entertainment. I tried the jumper test on the rear entertainment module (under the floorboard) but was unsuccessful. It is ridiculously small 18 awg wire and I am not sure if I had the hot and ground touching.

Appreciate the response. My issues mysteriously stopped again. I’m sure it will come back at some point. I guess I should send my amp off when I get a chance just to be certain that the amp is not the issue.
