Long time lurker here

Thanks for the add…. Long time yota and Lexus guy. Long story short after being unhappy w “new Toyotas” I’m keeping the tried and true Toyotas…. 4R FJ Sequoia GX460 and now a 2021 Lexus LX570

Just bought a 21 LX570. Excellent condition etc but heard a noise in the door panel and it was the washers behind to bolts that are currently holding nothing. Removed the bolts and washers and stored them until I figure this mystery out. Have yet to locate a schematic of the door but will get to Lexus soon.

In the mean time I’m guessing someone here knows…. The pic is the drivers door and the location of the bolts are the lower left quadrant.

If anyone knows of this holds a module or anything please let me know. I’m curious. The good news is the annoying ting ting noise is gone.

Thanks for any help

I don’t know anything about Lexus parts sites, but lots of Toyota sites have exploded parts diagrams that will show what might go there (if it’s an OEM thing).

Don't know about the Lexus, but my LC has those two bolts holding a big block of a material looking like Styrofoam but much harder, it has round groove to fit over the reinforcement pipe, not sure if it's for insulation or crash protection

Appears it’s called a front door stiffener cushion, left side is part number 67924-60010 on a 2021 LX

I kind wonder whether the front doors make a different sound when closed
