I've got 230k on a 2011 and I've been putting off a suspension refresh for too long. I have done accumulator globes and sway bar links recently so they aren't on this list. Have a little thump noise when coming to a stop that is probably a bushing so time to tear it down. My Plan is this

  1. replace all bushings
  2. replace all ball joints
  3. replace tie rod ends-both inner and outer
  4. replace shocks
My parts list is as follows
Brand Number Name Processing, days Price Qty Sum Actions
Toyota 4863260030 BUSH, FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER ARM, RH/LH
Toyota 4865560040 BUSH, FRONT LOWER ARM, NO.2, RH/LH
Toyota 4865460040 BUSH, FRONT LOWER ARM, NO.1, RH/LH
Toyota 4859760110 RETAINER, SHOCK ABSORBER CUSHION
Toyota 4860960080 SUPPORT SUB-ASSY, FRONT SUSPENSION, RH/LH
Toyota 4851069355 ABSORBER ASSY, SHOCK, FRONT, RH/LH
Toyota 9094801097 CUSHION, FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER, NO.1, RH/LH
Tie rod end kit from cruiserteq Tie Rod End Kit - Fits 2008-2016 IFS 200 Series Land Cruiser & Lexus LX570 - https://cruiserteq.com/555-tie-rod-end-kit-fits-2008-2016-ifs-200-series-land-cruiser-lexus-lx570-tre200tre/
Edited to add: ball joints, cruiserteq has a kit of 555 ball joints.
Anything I'm overlooking or doesn't need replacement?

If shocks aren’t leaking I wouldn’t bother if it were me. Your original springs are likely really tired.
I'm not seeing any leaking from a cursory glance. 48131-60D91 for the spring is what I came up with. Kinda pricey but I guess I was just gonna waste it on something else anyway.

If you have the shock apart I'd add in the trim packer/spacer.

How rusty do your cam bolts look?

If you are going through the trouble of the suspension bushings\ball joints, you may consider just buying the whole arm assembly, these will come with the bushings and the ball joint.

Don't forget the AHC fluid.

Yeah I edited to add I am doing the ball joints as well. I was trying to be cheap and do them myself but I've done bushings and ball joints on a 4th gen 4runner and they were awful. Had to burn and cut the bushings. The cam bolts look good, it's a southern vehicle so the few times it saw road salt it was immediately washed off.

Not sure if you do much off-roading or not, but if you do, you might want to look into the tundra front end swap.

I don't but I'll look into it. Was planning on doing the tundra brakes at some point soon. Mostly just tow and some mild off-road.
