Agree, and I would expect even without the cover, that any increase in thermostat temps wouldn't be measurable. Once it gets beyond the BTU shedding capacity, that temps will start rising. Those temps can also impact transmission cooling.

There's at least a couple reports on these boards of off-road crawling and overheating, that were related to the cover delete. It's not as insignificant of an impact as it may seem.

Digging deeper, those that have replaced their radiator know the extents by which the radiator is sealed with foam. It's a comprehensive solution to ensure cooling capability, and possibly cooling margin into longer life when fins get bent and plugged.

The skid plates at the bottom also have chunks of foam for the same reasons. I make sure when changing the oil to get these back in place.

Between the covers, aftermarket bumpers, aftermarket skids, etc,. those with heavy use vehicles may want to be critical of how these can impact cooling performance as it's designed to perform as a system.

I keep them and just move it for airing up! My engine is oh so quiet

@nwfl4runner How do you like the MORRflate setup? Is it cool enough to put back in the bag when done, or do you have to let it cool off a bit before packing it up? How long to air up the 37's?

I've had my PUMA for nearly a decade and it's been dead nuts reliable, 100% duty cycle and speed around the ARB dual for 1/3 the price, but there is something very tempting about CFM designed for filling all 4 at once

dude it's a game changer for 37s. I was running 10psi on the trails, and 30psi around Moab, did it so much faster than my ARB single, and I was able to drop it right in the bag. A bit hot to the touch, but nothing concerning
