I have started to do a chrome delete on my 2015 LX570. What is everyone’s thoughts on pulling the door molding opposed to blacking out the chrome.

On the back I have taken some off and painted while others I used Platidip to see f I liked the look. It was really easy to spray 5 coats of plastidip. Over the next few weeks I will see how durable it is.How does the silver chrome around the windows get addressed? I would like to delete my chrome also, prefer to paint to match body.
Do I have to take interior door panel off to take trim off. I haven’t seen a clear answer to where it is screwed. If I remove trim does actual door have a hole? The door molding will pop off and the chrome unscrews from the painted base.
You can then paint/wrap and reinstall.
No. It all pops off from the exterior. Just pull it.Do I have to take interior door panel off to take trim off. I haven’t seen a clear answer to where it is screwed. If I remove trim does actual door have a hole?
I love the way your LX looks. I'm a noob on this forum and to Toyota/Lexus. I recently bought an 08 LX570 and am restoring it to its former glory after 1st owner let it go a bit. I'm thinking about doing a chrome delete on it and am curious, in the end which route did you choose to go for addressing the chrome on the sides of your LX and are you happy with the results?
