I have searched the forum and I have replaced everything that was mentioned. I purchased my LX a few months ago with 165000 miles on it. It's a So Calif car and in amazing condition. It has always been maintained at the Lexus dealer. It locked up on me a couple of times getting on the freeway when I first got it. SInce then I installed a 3" lift, which included UCA's, Icon shocks, and rear springs. While it was down I replaced the front axles, cleaned all four traction control sensors and replaced the ball joints and bushings on the rack and pinon. It has new tires and wheels and still the traction control has gone off twice while on the freeway on ramp. Any one have any ideas?

Here is what it looks like now.

It is the VSC actuating. Sometimes it will just beep, other times it will lock one wheel.
Have you performed a zero point calibration and reset the yaw sensor?
Are you running E load tires and what are your pressures set at?
Do you have any play between the upper and lower steering shaft splines? This can throw the steering angle sensor off as it rattles back and forth.
What condition are the sway bar end links in?
Any play anywhere will amplify the issue.
Your front end looks high (looks great), the yaw sensor is designed to have slight rake. Some of the Tundra guys have attempted to shim their yaw sensor with limited success.

Thanks for the info.

If your running E Load tires, lower the tire pressure to 35psi.

How did you make out?

love the look of your truck... sweet.

Once I changed out the steering ram bushings, it has never locked up a wheel since. The traction control beeps every once in a while when in loose dirt or going fast on a circular on ramp.

Do the VSC bypass mod if the beeping drives you nuts.

Sorry, steering ram bushing?
Yeah, the steering ram was a little sloppy and once I tightened it up it solved the problem. I also cleaned the sensors in each wheel.

I meant once the new bushing were installed it tightened it up. Its a common problem once you get close to 200,000 miles.

what size tires are those and what lift do you have?

And if the 'size' could be measured with a tape measure from the pavement to the top of the tire that would be ideal. Lots of misinformation on this forum about "I'm running 35's!"...
