LX470 2001 anyone ever installed a remote start?

Since I'm fixing everything i neglected for the last 10 yrs and it's my wife's main ride I ordered a remote start kit... just curious if I will have issues installing it? hell i'm even fixing the the running board lights that haven't worked on both side for 8 years

I don't think that you would have any trouble. It should be pretty standard. People have been installing remote starts in 100 series for years. Just as long as it's an automatic transmission which most around here are, you should be in pretty good shape.

One thing that you will probably need to work around is the transponder, but it shouldn't be too hard.
