LX coils and 80 coils are the same. Only the shocks are different and those are reasonably priced at the dealer. Not sure why you would want worn out shocks anyway. OME makes a "stock" lift kit that's really not that expensive. I think Slee sells those too..
CDan sells them for $10 less than list. $30 for the front and $35 for the rear...not bad...but I may go with aftermarkets...the technology has probably improved since then. =-)
What did you wind up buying truck wise? I had priced the OME stock replacements at one point and it seems they were pretty close to stock price wise. OME also has the new Sport shocks which are supposed to be nicer-Im wanting to try some.
FWIW Ive been buying stuff from Universal Toyota with the ACLC discount. Not quite Cdan pricing but close enough for me once shipping is figured in and most items they can get in next day which has been helpful.
Actually, I ended up with some mid range Monroe's (I know, blasphemy) from Advanced. I had a $40 off coupon. I'm not looking for a high performance solution nor am I looking to put a lot of money into this truck. I've been replacing things here and there and cleaning it up...the last thing I need is a $600 shock replacement. That's the cost of a locker for the Zoo!
