i have a buddy who just bought a 09 LX , a lot due to my constant hounding him to get a 100 or 200, over a Tahoe or sequoia, he found a 80k mile one for a good price, but is really wanting to know what its strengths are over a sequoia or any other SUV out there.. I told him what I know from a life time of cruiser ownership but I'm not that familiar with the 200's . Any help showing him what makes these rigs what they are would sure be appreciated.. Thanks Dave

I know, I have already forwarded it to him, but thanks for the help. I'm brand new at this compared to you , :)his question to me is why does it cost almost twice what a sequoia does? i thought you guys could provide some better answers than I could .

Here's a good starting point article that addresses this exact question.

Key point (but worth reading the rest)... It's really only 16% more expensive than the most comparable Sequoia 4x4.

Second biggie: Talk to a mechanic who does frame work, diff, gears, axles, and you quickly learn that climbing under a Land Cruiser is the only real way to fully appreciate the differences.

Thanks Markuson , I appreciate it
