Yeah they definitely killed the proportions of this LX600. No longer has that big SUV look to it. Just looks like a RAV4 from a distance lol.

Well, I like my glorified rav4. After a long multi day series of flights and other travel with my family yesterday, we drove the last two hours home from the airport in a most excellent comfort with all the engine I could ask for. Is not for everyone, but it is definitely for us.

You might need to get your eyes checked. A Rav4?
It looks goofy dude. I saw a few in person and was sad to see what they’ve done. The side profile is absolutely hideous. That quarter side window? Wtf were they thinking? And it overall has the stance and appearance of a RAV4 or similar small SUV. Just goofy looking. No wonder nobody is buying these

Hmm had to search mine out, bought it last month. Maybe its out of your budget or something but its a pretty good SUV, at least for me as I own a construction company and Ranch. I also do not like the fit and finish of the Sequoia and have a Superduty already (I also considered a SR Tundra for a moment).

Its 2.5” taller, 7.3” longer, 2.3 wider, and the rear cargo area is a little better configured compared to an LX470.

RAV4 are cute, really nice entry level cars and I wouldn’t knock them. But I am not seeing it.

Then just say it looks goofy instead of comparing it to another car you don’t like. I can tell you in my market (really throughout the state of Texas) they do not sit on lots unless it’s carrying ADM or is an overpriced pre owned.

Personally I haven’t found an LX to be all that attractive since the 450 and 470. I think the 570 and 600 look good from certain angles but the complete package has never done it for me. Hence my interest in seeing what an OT trim or even just a refresh to fit into the brands latest styling cues would look like.

I have given a couple of RAV4’s some decent work outs on ski trips and agree they are really good cars. Tried to find my mom one within her budget last year after her Kia was on its deathbed. It was the first time in a long time I shopped for a car that was entry level and discovered how much the car market sucked even on that end of the spectrum.

Its like $1,000 to upgrade to AWD too. Really good deal.

I almost bought a Camery one time too.

You can still get new cars for around $30k and that is the 2 I would look at 👍

They are not being bought because it's an ultra niche product at a price point where most prefer Range Rover and other crappy EU offerings.

People give me thumb's up when they see the LX600, and it gets second looks all the time -- i could care less about all of that, and after owning all kinds of vehicles (more expensive) i think this is one of the nicest looking trucks around, especially in the F Sport trim.

Reliability is gone. And it’s priced the same as an X7/GLS.No sense left getting a new Lexus anymore unless you’re the 0.000001% buyer that will actually take this thing on a dirt road.
I will take off road for hunting and that is the only reason for me to buy.

Some people prefer the less flashy look too. You always have to keep that in mind.

Several cars and SUV meet that criteria and this is one of them.

Part of the problem is that Toyota has a lot of newly designed SUVs hitting the market. They did next to nothing for a decade, now have new Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Tacoma, 4Runner, LX and GX.

Good time to be a buyer with so many options.

Yeah really good time to buy a lemon.

Go for it. Take a gamble.
Will do.

It does suck for those with motors built during the recall window.

One thing that is weird about Toyota is even if they are all lemons they hold value. I have a 1st gen Tacoma reg cab 4cyl too with a frame swap. 36k miles on it original old man truck and the value is real high on it.

They are literally discounting brand new tundras 10-15k off MSRP trying to move these piles off the lot. So much for what you just said about them holding value.
