I am hoping mud can help me out. My speedo will read about 10 mph faster than my actual speed after the vehicle has been driven for about 2 hours. It doesn't happen for short trips only after it has been driven for a while. Has anyone seen this? Should I replace the vehicle speed sensor? I appreciate the help.

May not relate to this, but I've seen a speed sensor on a tundra 2015 giving incorrect speed or shifting pattern readings only after warming up. The resistance of the sensor was all within spec (at room temp), until it was bench tested while applying little bit of heat! They replaced the speed sensor and problem solved.

Thank you for the help. Is there anything else that controls the speedometer that could be faulty? I tried a new speed sensor but it didn’t correct the problem. I also tried a local mechanic and he had no idea. Should I go to a dealer? Any advice is appreciated.
