Brother Rob and I got started on our Luke bumpers on Saturday, just in time for CM07. Will try to do a write-up of the kits after the trip, but a couple of quick observations. The angles are greatly improved, shots from the side, the ladder used for scale is 26" tall.![]()
On the other thread you mentioned that you got the "poverty" no-swingout bumper. What are you doing with the spare? Surely it no longer fits under the vehicle?
The price *is* too good to pass up; the catch has got to be the shipping...
I do think this is a great bumper design, and the kit aspect is a great innovation for those wishing to do some of the work, without all the metal forming.
Tools-You guys did a nice job with those. I saw them on a pallet at Luke's before they went out to you. 4x4 Labs is a 100% great place to do business. Luke himself is a real craftsman and a master of his trade. I go up there from time to time just to see what they are up to.
